Jet Airways appoints high level executives

Raj Sivakumar has been appointed as chief commercial officer of Jet Airways. He is responsible for the overall development and implementation of a robust sales strategy to enhance market share and maximise revenues. He will report to the chief operating officer.

Rajeev Nambiar, an 18 year old veteran of the industry, has joined the airline’s management team as Vice President – Sales (India) and will report to Sivakumar.

The airline will appoint Martin Drew as Vice President – Cargo subject to government and regulatory approvals including security clearance. Drew has over 20 years of experience in the air cargo industry with leading airlines like Lufthansa Cargo, ANA Aviation Services, DAS Air Cargo etc. Curiously he will not report to Mr. Sivakumar, but will instead report to the chief operating officer.

Earlier this month, the Business Standard had reported that Jet Airways had appointed industry veteran Subodh Karnik as its chief operating officer subject to government and regulatory approvals and security clearances.
