Saudi flag carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines has placed an order for an additional 30 Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The order which includes 15 A321XLRs also gives the airline options on 35 more A320 family aircraft, bringing the airline’s firm order to 65 aircraft and 100 aircraft including options.
The airline has not yet announced what engines it will equip with its neos with, however Saudia’s current fleet is CFM powered.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 100 Airbus ceo aircraft including the A320, A321 and A330.
