US-Bangla Q400 crashes at Kathmandu airport

A Bombardier Q400 of Bangladeshi carrier US-Bangla has crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu Nepal. The aircraft reportedly veered off the runway on landing at the airport.

The aircraft has been identified in local media as S2-AGU operating flight BS211. However this has not been officially confirmed.

Rescue operations are underway at the airport, and 17 passengers have been rescued from the crash. The number of people on the aircraft is still unconfirmed.
