Etihad to begin third daily from Bangalore

Middle-eastern carrier Etihad Airways will launch a third daily flight from Bangalore to Abu Dhabi from 26 March 2017. The new flight will allow the airline to offer passengers from Bangalore more connections to Europe and North America via it’s Abu Dhabi hub. The flight will be operated using a two class Airbus A321.

The new flight’s late night departure from Abu Dhabi, and early morning service from Bengaluru will provide additional connectivity to Doha, Jeddah, London, Dublin, New York, Dallas and other routes. Etihad’s partner carrier Jet Airways also operates a daily flight between the two cities on it’s 737-800, the flight carry’s Etihad codeshares and connect to Etihad flights in Abu Dhabi.

Etihad and Jet operate this route using only narrow body aircraft compared to middle-eastern rivals Emirates and Qatar Airways, both of whom deploy their Boeing 777-300ER’s on this route.
