Vistara celebrates a million passengers

The Tata-SIA Airline, Vistara has crossed the milestone one million passenger mark, in less than 50 weeks of operations, little over two weeks shy of its first anniversary of January 9th.

The passenger Mr. Biplove Choudhary, received a warm welcome by Vistara crew at IGI Airport, New Delhi Delhi International airport and was escorted from the terminal entrance to the check-in counter. He was upgraded to Business class, and presented with a Club Vistara Gold frequent flier membership.

To celebrate the occasion, all passengers flying today with the airline are receiving a complimentary Premium Economy upgrade voucher redeemable on a future flight and a specially designed baggage tag marking the milestone is also being presented to all customers.

Vistara currently flies 311 weekly flights to 12 destinations with a fleet of nine Airbus A320 fitted with winglets called Sharklets. The airline will be adding four aircraft to its fleet during 2016.
