Without a doubt the Airbus A320 family is queen of the night-time ramp at Bengaluru International Airport.
The three major Indian operators of the A320, Air India, IndiGo and Kingfisher, station their aircraft at Bangalore for early morning operations commencing from Bangalore.
Even on the international front, Airbus rules the roost with the A330 being operated by Air France, DragonAir, Emirates Airline, Thai Airways and Malaysia Airlines. Qatar Airways, Etihad and SilkAir operate an A320, while Air China brings in a “baby-bus” A319. Boeing has its presence via Lufthansa’s 747-400, Singapore Airline’s 777-200, Malaysia Airline’s and Oman Air’s 737-800.
