Almost nine months after national carrier Air India joined the global airline grouping Star Alliance, it has painted one of its flagship Boeing 777-300ERs VT-ALJ Bihar is the special Alliance livery.

Contributors also report, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner at Charleston, South Carolina is also being prepared in the special Star livery.

Special liveries hold an attraction to plane spotters around the world, and also help promote the airline and alliance.

    Yep I saw this aircraft last friday at BOM but I couldnt take a picture coz the FA asked me to switch of my mobile for take off 🙁

      I thought it was now acceptable to switch the phone to flight mode during take off & landing??
