AirAsia reconnects Hyderabad and Kuala Lumpur

After a gap of nearly four years, Malaysia low cost carrier AirAsia returns to Hyderabad airport. The airline will commence daily services between its Kuala Lumpur hub and Hyderabad from December 8, 2014. The airline had pulled out from Hyderabad on January 11, 2011 citing high airport charges.

The airline will use an ‘all night’ over-night red-eye schedule which is proven to be the most effective for flights to South-East Asia.

Flight AK69 departs Kuala Lumpur 21:35 arrives Hyderabad 23:15
Flight AK68 departs Hyderabad 23:55 arrives Kuala Lumpur 06:35 the next morning.

AirAsia will offer Hyderabad passengers its Fly-Thru service which allows booking of connecting flights to domestic destinations in Malaysia like Penang, Langkawi, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching and other international destination served by AirAsia and AirAsia X like Singapore, Bali, Jakarta, Bangkok, Phuket, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh City, Brunei, Sydney, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth.

The airline has opened bookings effective today and is offering a promotional fare of Rs 2,099 one way.
