Tata-SIA Vistara to commence New Delhi Bangkok flights

The Tata-Singapore Airlines joint-venture Vistara will commence daily flights on the New Delhi Bangkok sector from August 27, 2019. Bangkok is the third international destination for the airline. It commenced flights to Singapore today, and will commence flights between Mumbai and Dubai on August 21st.

Like it Mumbai Dubai flights, Vistara will use its three-class Airbus A320neo on the Bangkok route. It will be the first to offer a premium economy class between the two destinations. There are currently around eight daily non-stop flights between the two capitals being operated by full service Air India and Thai Airways, and low-cost GoAir and Spicejet.

Slugfest on crowded routes

Surprisingly the airline is chosing to launch flights on high competition routes rather than take advantage of gaps left by the demise of Jet Airways on lucrative routes like Bangalore Singapore.
