Lufthansa to begin flights to Austin with Indian connections

German flag carrier Lufthansa has announced that it will operate a five time a week flight from Frankfurt to Austin. Austin will be the carriers third destination in Texas after Dallas and Huston. The flight will begin from 3 May 2019.

The flight will be operated by a three class Airbus A330-300 and will connect to Lufthansa’s Indian flights. The outgoing flight will offer a quick connection especially to passengers flying in from Bangalore where the connection at Frankfurt would be an hour. However the return flight from Austin offers a four hour connection at Frankfurt airport.
