Yesterday, Bangalore Aviation was invited to view India’s first Boeing 737 MAX. VT-JXA was delivered to Jet Airways on June 20, 2018.
Jet Airways has configured its 737 MAX 8 in a two class cabin carrying 174 passengers; 12 in business and 162 in economy. The aircraft which is the first of a 225 aircraft order is fitted with a brand new cabin product reflective of many modern passenger amenities.
Business class
The business class is configured in a standard 2-2 layout with three rows. The seats are in a light blue (one might say teal) leather.

Jet airways is promoting a bring your own device (BYOD) concept for IFE with its JetScreen streaming service. The tray tables have stands to support your personal electronic devices (PED) including tablets.
Economy class
The economy class is 27 rows in a standard 3-3 layout featuring new slimline seats upholstered in a darker blue faux leather. The slimline seats give a feeling of greater legroom compared to the older generation seating.
Again, in keeping with the BYOD philosophy, Jet has equipped each seat with a USB power supply, a personal electronics device holder and coat hook and device holder at each seat.

Jet Airways has saved space by opting for the new slimline restrooms. So plan on relieving yourself either before or after the flight.
