Low cost carrier Indigo has announced that Aditya Ghosh is resigning from his post as president and director of the company. Rahul Bhatia has been appointed as the company’s CEO. Indigo has also appointed Gregory Taylor as a senior advisor to the company and will be considered by Interglobe Aviation’s board as the company’s next President and CEO.
Gregory Taylor has more than 40 years of experience in airlines. During 2016 and 2017, Taylor was the Executive Vice President of Revenue Management and Network Planning at IndiGo. Prior to that he held various senior management roles at United Airlines and US Airways in the areas of corporate planning, strategy, network planning, fleet planning, finance, cost Management and airline express operations. Taylor holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
What is unknown is the role for Wolfgang Prock-Schauer who recently joined the airline as COO from GoAir.
