The Tata-Singapore Airlines branded Vistara will serve Starbucks coffee on-board its flights from later this year. As a coffee lover, I look forward some decent coffee aboard an Indian carrier. The world famous brand though will be limited to the business and premium economy class sections.
Global agreement between Tatas and Starbucks
The move is part of a significant agreement between the Tatas and Starbucks at a global level. Starbucks will promote an Indian single original coffee from the Tatas in the United States. Starbucks will offer the Tata’s ‘Himalayan’ brand drinking water at its stores in Asia Pacific starting with Singapore. The Indian joint venture between the two companies will bring to India, the speciality Teavana teas, owned by Starbucks. Read more about the agreement.
Wonderful. Appreciate this since they have offered this for Premium Economy as well.
Hope they don’t hike fares due to this though !
