American airframer Boeing has delivered Irish carrier Ryanair’s 400th 737-800.
The Dublin based carrier which pioneered the the low cost carrier model in Europe took delivery of it’s first 737-800 in March 1999 and currently operates the largest 737 fleet in the world.
The airline has more than 130 unfilled orders for 737-800 on Boeing’s order book. It is also the launch customer for the 737 MAX 200, for which Ryanair has a 100 aircraft order.
