Franco-Italian aircraft manufacturer ATR has appointed 56 year old Giovanni Tramparulo as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Tramparulo worked with the European consortium from 1992-2014. The new appointment marks his return to the position he held from 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, he was the CEO’s sales finance special advisor. From 2012, he worked in Venice as sales finance advisor at SuperJet International, the Italian-Russian marketing wing for the Sukhoi SuperJet regional airliner.
A veteran in the aircraft industry, his career began in 1985 at Aeritalia, Naples with responsibility of managing foreign currencies. In 1988, he moved to Alenia’s headquarters in Rome where he managed export finance and special projects covering military and civil aircraft worldwide for all its divisions.
He is graduated cum laude in Economics from the University of Naples (Facoltà di Economia e Commercio) with business studies at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce et d’Administration in Lausanne, Switzerland.
With his new position, he will be responsible for controlling, accounting & treasury, sales financing, credit & risk management and internal control.
