India’s newest airline, Air Pegasus will commence operations today with its inaugural flight between Bangalore and Hubballi.
Indian civil aviation minister, Ashok Gajapati Raju, is inaugurating flight OP111 which will depart Bangalore at 10:30. Air Pegasus will join Gurgaon based SpiceJet on this popular business route.
Bangalore Aviation team member Vedant will bring you updates from the venue and the flights. So stay tuned.
Thanks & look forward to the updates. Tried a dummy booking on Spicejet website for few dates in Apr & May for BLR-HBX & it comes back as no flights available. Looking at flight schedule for IXG (Belgaum) it resembles what was proposed for HBX. So Spicejet has moved flights from HBX to IXG.
Wow! Look on how LB is taking on SG on the same route and same time. Would like to know how that is fairing for either one of them ,-)
LB ?
Hubballi ! and why not Mangalooroo
where are the updates from your team member Vedant?
Sorry about this. There was a goof-up and person holding his boarding card to/from Hubli disappeared. Along with him, many staffers of the airline including the official photographer could not travel. Did not want to highlight this goof-up. It is embarrassing for the airline. 🙂
