Last week Indian national carrier Air India took delivery of it newest Airbus A320 equipped with the new Sharklet wingtips. The aircraft is registered VT-EXA and was ferried to New Delhi on the 5th of February.
The aircraft delivered under a 12-year operating lease agreement from China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC). CALC shall deliver an additional four new A320 aircraft to Air India by the end of 2015. The aircraft is also equipped with light-weight dragonfly Z85 cabin seats.
Some good steps by AI. But very expensive steps. What’s Z85 cabin seats?
Dragonfly Z85 cabin seats are a type of slimline seat. These help the airline by being lighter than regular seats and help passengers by providing them with a little more space. I think Dragonfly seats are manufactured by Zodic Aerospace.
