Vistara to begin operations to Goa and Hyderabad

Vistara (Tata-SIA) has announced that it will begin operations on two new routes, the first to Goa from 20th February and then to Hyderabad from 1st March, 2015.

The airline began it’s operations in India earlier this month on 9th January. Vistara currently has a fleet of three Airbus A320s and aims to have a fleet size of five by March. Read our trip report from Vistara’s first flight.

  1. Why are they missing the most promising airport- Bengaluru? Strange indeed!

    • I suspect, they are waiting since Bangalore is a very competitive destination, and they will need early morning and late evening flights. They may not enough fleet right now.

      • From what I understand, DEL-BLR is an absolute bloodbath in terms of competition. Maybe UK is waiting for the market to pick up again in a few months before entering the fray. I doubt operating such a highly competitive route in the lean season is going to do well for their balance sheets.
