New full service carrier Vistara’s (TATA-SIA) first flight will take-off on 9th January 2015. With Delhi as its hub, Vistara will initially offer flights to Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
Vistara’s 148-seater A320-200 will offer three separate cabins, with 16 seats in Business, 36 in Premium Economy and 96 in Economy Class. The airline is the first full service Indian carrier to offer a premium economy option.
The fares (at the time of publishing) for a Delhi – Mumbai flight on the 9th of January is Rs. 9,233 in Economy, Rs. 15,409 in Premium Economy and Rs. 32,347 in Business.
Club Vistara will also be the first frequent flyer program in India to be a value based program, wherein loyalty points are accrued based on actual spend on the ticket fare rather than miles travelled.
Bookings will launch through direct channels like the company website (www.airvistara.com) and the Customer Service Centre (1860 108 9999) or the major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) used by Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and other traditional travel agents.
