The first aircraft of the Tata Singapore Airlines joint venture airline, Vistara will arrive at New Delhi this evening around 17:00 local time.
The aircraft MSN6223 (manufacturer’s serial number) will be registered as VT-TTB.
The aircraft took off on its first flight on July 11, and was delivered yesterday at Tolouse Blagnac airport in France. The delivery flight flew to Ras Al Khaymah in the United Arab Emirates last night and took off for New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi airport earlier today.
Curiously the aircraft is an all-white livery with just basic airline logos as the name Vistara was announced well after the painting of the aircraft was completed. This aircraft will be used by Vistara to complete is flight certifications and other formalities with India’s civil aviation regulator the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Great news!! Look forward to fly with them soon. What’s the plan for their Frequent Flyer program? Would they use Kris Flyer or will have something of their own?
