Cockpit video: Air France A380 Paris CDG to Toyko Narita

The site JustPlanes makes these cockpit videos which gives us a behind the scenes look at flight operations, in this case Air France flight AF276 from Paris Charles De Gualle airport to the New Tokyo International Airport at Narita.

There some interesting snippets of information shared in the video. For example: the rear elevator of the A380 is bigger than the main wing of the A320, or the plane will require between 145 minutes to 175 minutes (almost three hours) after take-off for the tyres to cool down. Imagine 550 tons on those last few tyres of the main undercarriage at 320+ kmph as the behemoth lifts off.

It is interesting to see how the Air France cabin crew use technology to communicate.
