Photos: Air India’s first Boeing 787 Dreamliner VT-ANA on the flightline

The first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner due for delivery to national carrier Air India, VT-ANA, moved out of the paint shop on the flight line at Paine field in Everett, Washington. This is the 25th aircraft in the production line. By sheer co-incidence, the launch airline for the Dreamliner is All Nippon Airways better known as ANA.

As you can make out, there are some subtle differences in the livery of the 787-8 compared to the current international fleet of Boeing 777s. Most notable the lack of the word “Air India” on the tail and the parallel stripes on the length of the fuselage.
