Video: Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner displays Star Alliance logo

Matt Cawby at Skyline Photography and author of the great Paine field blog, took this video of Air India’s fourth Boeing 787 Dreamliner VT-AND being wheeled out of the paint shop.

Around the 2:00 minute mark in to the video, you will observe the Star Alliance logo just behind the Indian flag on the right side of the aircraft just adjacent to the cockpit windows.

The national carrier’s entry in to the Star Alliance has been repeatedly delayed. Air India has announced an end of February merger deadline of its AI and IC flight code in to a single AI flight code, a key requirement of the alliance with an expected alliance joining date in the 2nd or 3rd quarter this year.
